Chippenham based Recruitment Company, 24-7 Drivers has registered its 1000th successful applicant.
The company which is also celebrating its 5th birthday in May this year has proved that is can survive a recession by sticking to core company values and providing quality, rather than quantity. Managing Director Julian Thompson commented “It is a great mark of our achievements. Given that our recruitment process is so rigorous and only one third of applicants are successful, to be able to register our 1000th driver within five years is fantastic and not only that, but a large percentage of those drivers have been with us from the first year.”
The recruitment company, which opened its second branch in Yate last year, is also adding strength to its values by diversifying into training. Later this year it will be offering further services to the local driving industry by providing Driver CPC training, which becomes compulsory from September this year.
Operations Manager Jo Weir, who is heading up the Drivers CPC training, said “We have decided to focus our efforts in our specialist area and add to the in house training we already provide free of charge with digital tachographs. Clients will be able to book training at their premises, as well as send drivers to our training centre, at a reduced cost. In addition to this, we can also provide drivers to fill their seats while on training so deliveries will always be made. Drivers will also be able to book directly onto the course through us to keep their licenses valid and improve employment opportunities.”
