A new software system recently installed at specialist driving recruitment agency 24-7 Staffing in Chippenham is set to revolutionise the way daily operations are carried out by the company.
TempID from Rocket Software streamlines front and back office operations to eliminate the duplication of data entry, allowing office staff to be more productive with their core responsibilities.
Not only does the system manage daily bookings, drivers licence checks and comprehensive client details, but it also keeps tabs on working time directive and records tachograph details, prompting early returns from drivers. The system can send SMS text messages directly from the PC to multiple numbers of drivers informing them of new work opportunities and saves the consultant hours of ringing round. It also improves the accuracy of messages between the office staff and drivers because they can receive address, contact details and even directions to a new client premises with a convenient text message.
Significant time savings have been made in the payroll and invoicing process since all the drivers payroll details are entered onto the system by consultants in the front office. This information is then seamlessly imported directly into Sage for payment, automatically calculating pay rates, overtime and the total number of hours each driver has worked. Invoices are also produced directly from the information captured on the daily plan, which reduces discrepancies with clients.
