Snowden Team Challenge

The 24-7 Staffing Snowdon Team Challenge has raised over £1000 following a recent event involving 22 people climbing the mountain in aid of the Wiltshire Air Ambulance Appeal.

The team was lead by one of our own heavy goods vehicle drivers, Grenadier Tim Weston from the BBC’s “Bad Lads Army” who did a great job at keeping the momentum going and ensuing sufficient rest breaks.  With a mixed ability team including Iron Man, Keith Tabley and 10 Year old Laura Hayes, we thought it would be a challenge trying to keep everyone together.  The team spirit was fantastic, with everyone encouraging and supporting each other all the way to the top and back down again as a group.

Managing Director Julian Thompson commented: “The views were amazing and we passed so many inspiring people along the way including one double amputee. A helicopter was also hovering above us at one stage and served as a great reminder of the cause we were supporting with our challenge, to keep the Wiltshire Air Ambulance going helping to save the lives of local people.”

Excellent photos of the team challenge can be seen on the 24-7 Staffing Facebook page and donations as still be made on the just giving page http://www.justgiving.com/24-7Staffing.

24-7 Staffing have chosen to support the Wiltshire Air Ambulance charity this year and is the second fund raising event so far. They were also involved in an ice cream campaign during the summer, delivering free ice creams to local businesses, which went down a scream.

We would like to thank all those people involved in the Snowdon Team Challenge as well as all the support from our lovely clients and candidates for the Wiltshire Air Ambulance Appeal.
