We pride ourselves as a business on being open and transparent – after all, one of our five core values is to be crystal clear – so we think it’s important to keep everyone up-to-date with how our business is performing. And we’re delighted to say we have good news.

Our four divisions - Healthcare, Driving, Industrial and Commercial – are performing well, which is great news for our clients, our candidates and of course our team. It’s thanks to their hard work that we’re able to drive our business forward.

Our Healthcare division continues to perform well with new clients coming on board across Wiltshire, which is matched by a strong candidate recruitment strategy to meet this demand.

We are also delighted to be working in partnership with Wiltshire College & University Centre’s Care Academy to help fill the skills gap for carers across Wiltshire. You can find out more about this innovative approach here.

Our Driving, Industrial and Commercial divisions have picked up new contracts. We have taken on more internal staff to service these contracts and ensure a high-quality experience both for clients and candidates.

While most of our business remains in the temporary market, we have seen a significant increase in the amount of permanent vacancies across all sectors and confidence with local employers appears high. Which is great news for the local economy.

The 24-7 Staffing team

We have taken on several additional staff and we still have a number of internal vacancies across all our offices, which is a great reflection of how well business is going.

For those of you who like numbers, our turnover for the last quarter was 13% up against the same period last year and revenue for the same quarter was up 16.6%.

Among our latest recruits is Jamie Chant, new Branch Manager at our Bristol office. Jamie joins the business with five years’ recruitment experience and his exceptional energy and enthusiasm for recruitment is infectious.

We have recently celebrated the 10th anniversary of our Salisbury Branch Manager, Shane Stevens who has been a loyal member of our team, adapting to the changing needs of the business over the years. 

Our fantastic Chippenham Branch Manager, Carl Stenning, certainly has his work cut out managing the largest team in the business and his extensive experience of the recruitment sector is invaluable to help develop people in his team.

True to another of our core values, People Power, we continue to invest in staff training, and have engaged one of the country’s leading recruitment trainers. Working with our managers, aspiring managers and new recruits to ensure everyone in the team is fully motivated and is also increasing their knowledge of the recruitment sector so they are well positioned to help our clients and candidates. 

All in all, great news as we enter the end of the year and approach – dare we say the C word – Christmas!
