Saturday 29th June marked the start of National Armed Forces Day and 24-7 Staffing were thrilled to be supporting the National event in Salisbury.
Being the only recruitment agency at the event, our main focus was to promote how we work with serving and ex-Forces personnel and how we can support them when transitioning into a new career.
We were located in the Business Village, handing out our 24-7 Staffing branded cupcakes, registering individuals who were interested in work, as well as giving out advice about how to find a new career path after the forces. You can read how Helen, a recruitment consultant in our Bristol office, came into recruitment after leaving the forces.
The Business Village was located right next to the main stage, so we were lucky enough to not miss any of the weekend's entertainment. Notable performances on Saturday were from the Military Wives Choir, Upbeat Beatles and Kaiser Chiefs.
Other highlights from the day, were the Red Arrows flyover and amazing displays from the RAF parachute display team.
As well as having an exhibition stand, we were also happy to have supplied some staff for the event. Below is Belinda, from our Amesbury office, with two of our staff, still smiling despite working in the 30˚C heat.
The evening finished on a high with a great performance from the Kaiser Chiefs followed by a stunning firework display.
If you missed us over the weekend and you are looking for work, we are holding an open day in our Amesbury branch on Saturday 13th July, from 9 am - 3 pm. Come along and find out how we can help you.
