Our management team here at 24-7 Staffing – Wiltshire’s premier independent recruitment company – have been given a boost with the appointment of three new directors.
We have made two internal promotions and a third new appointment, all at director level, as part of our strategy to grow, strengthen and improve the services we offer clients and candidates in Wiltshire and Bristol.
At the same time, we are delighted to announce we have relocated our Bristol office back to Yate, where we originally had a thriving branch office. We also have an office in Salisbury and our head office is in Chippenham.
“The appointments we have made and our relocation back into Yate all demonstrate the ambitious, forward-looking nature of our company,” said Julian Thompson, Managing Director here at 24-7 Staffing.
“The new office is in an excellent location, in the heart of the town, so more convenient for our candidates, yet still well-placed to support our clients in and around Bristol.”
Welcome to our new directors
Chippenham branch manager Carl Stenning becomes Operations Director, while Salisbury branch manager Shane Stevens also becomes a Director of the company.
Dave Bullock joins the team as Sales Director. He first worked with us seven years ago, as branch manager and then business development manager.
Dave, who has a 30-year career in recruitment, says he is delighted to be back. “I’ll be responsible for the business development strategy across the company to extend and strengthen our client base.”
Carl, who joined our team in 2017 and has a 25-year career in recruitment, comments. “Having recently relocated our Bristol office into Yate, I am looking forward to helping expand the operation here as well as build a healthcare division. Recruitment has changed hugely over the years and that’s what makes it so interesting.”
Shane has been with 24-7 Staffing for 11 years, setting up the original Yate branch and, more recently, the Salisbury branch, making them successful parts of the business.
He says: “I am really looking forward to what the future holds and continuing to be an instrumental part of a great senior management team. I am confident that, working together, we will reach our shared goals and take 24-7 Staffing to the next level.”
Jo Weir, our Compliance Manager, has seen her role expand to cover a wider area, to include a range of support services to the business, from internal systems to compliance and steering staff training as Quality Manager.
Finally, Sandie Davis, who has worked extensively within the recruitment sector as a finance director, has been contracted in to help our team on specific finance projects.
Julian adds: “We’re very pleased to welcome Dave back to the company and to have Carl and Shane join him as directors. It is also great to have Sandie in to support us with specific finance projects, and to have extended Jo’s role.”
