Type of Contract – Permanent

Salary – £22,880 – 24,024 p.a

Hours – 40 hours per week, working earlys, lates and/or nights over  7-day week

Location – Meldreth, Cambridgeshire

About the role – This role involves working in the residential side of the campus with young people who are no longer of school age.  Working alongside the Team Leaders, you will lead Support Workers, and together provide emotional and physical care to the young people, in and outside of the home.  Duties will also include accompanying them on activities outside campus.  This is a vital role that ensures service users program plans are followed, safely and efficiently.

Type of person required – We are looking for people who want to take their career to the next levels and lead other less experienced staff.    You will need good interpersonal, communication and team working skills. Also, be able to work within a rota pattern (which includes evenings, weekends and some unsocial hours).

Qualifications needed – For this Senior Support Worker role you will need a Diploma Level 3 in Children and Young People residential care or equivalent
