Type of Contract – Temporary work

Hourly rate - £11.50-£26.00

Hours – Monday to Sunday days or nights 0800-2000 or 2000-0800

Location – Chippenham

About the role – You will be supporting Adults with learning disabilities and other complex needs. Each resident is high functioning and therefore need prompting with basic living skills around the home and accessing the community. You will be supporting with activities such as cinema, bowling, walks and church. There is no lone working so you will be working as a team.

Train and bus services are close to the home. Buses run regularly throughout the day into Chippenham, Bath or Swindon and rail services to Bristol and Swindon or London operate from the local train station.

Type of person required – You will need to be experienced in this line of work and be confident compassionate and demonstrate a high level of care, respect and want to make a difference to vulnerable people’s lives.

Qualifications required – An in-date Care Certificate is required or the willingness to obtain one through 24-7 Staffing free of charge. This role requires you to have an in-date enhanced DBS Certificate that we can help you apply for if needed. You will also need 6 months experience within support work.
