Engineering Operative

***Required: A new Warehouse & Yard Operative to work for my client***

Tell me more about the role...
You will be primarily responsible for the picking, packing and general Stock Control of various sized electical cables used by the events and festival industry, whilst assisting engineers with the upkeep and mainteance of generators.

You'll be tasked with the following:
- Picking, packing and putting away various typoes of electrical cables using a colour coded stock control system
- The general upkeep of all working areas to esnure a smooth operation
- Assisting engineers with onsite instailiations and general upkeep and maintinecne of generators

The standard working hours for this role are generally Monday to Friday between the hours of 07:30 - 17:30.

What type of person are you looking for?
If you can demonstrate that you are a quick and tenatious learner and able to organise and control stock using various methods including colour coding, then you could be perfect for this Warehouse & Yard Operative role.

In addition, you'll need the following:
- Outstanding organisational skills
- The ability to learn and understand cables of different shapes and sizes
- An excellent attitude and work ethic

You'll also need to be the following:
- Able to work Monday to Friday full time hours
- Flexible in your approach to work as there is an opportunity to go out to site to work
- Eager to learn and able to work on your own using your inititive

What can I earn?
This Warehouse & Yard Operative position offers a basic salary between £10.00 - £12.00 per hour
