Job Description

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone wishing to enter the care industry to join our 24-7Staffing CARE ACADEMY course.

This role would suit someone who is reliable, has a caring approach with a flexible attitude and who is passionate about making a difference in people’s life. You will need to be compassionate, keen to learn and enjoy working as part of a team. There is also the opportunity to develop your learned skills through our ongoing training and support by your personal consultant.

CARE ACADEMY course includes:

  • 13 weeks of theory training days

  • PAID work placement shadow shifts

  • FREE uniform and course material

  • Full support by personal consultant throughout the 13weeks

  • Completion of the Care Certificate Standards at the end of the academy course

  • Offer of permanent employment or regular work

 Responsibilities and tasks during placement include:

  • Providing personal care for service users e.g. Bathing, toileting, helping with dressing/undressing, etc

  • Monitor and learn about medication regime

  • Light housekeeping duties within the home/care setting

  • Liaising with the clients, family and/or representatives

    Salary:

  • £7.20 with progression once course completed

    Hours:

    Part time placement hours (12hrs a week minimum) PLUS in-house theory training

    Please note that course enrolment will be subject to excellent references and an enhanced DBS being obtained.

    Would suit: school/college graduates, return to work applicants or junior carers/ people with private experience only

    Courses start as soon as possible but flexible for right candidate.
