We are looking for a talented and hard-working Labourer to work for our client!

The business you’ll be working for is a company that offer retractable up and over garage doors and are simply a one-piece garage door panel retracting fully into the garage when open.

Please note:  Whilst initially this is a temporary role there is the potential for the role to become permanent in the future.

The Role:

In the General Labourer role you’ll report to the Site Manager and will be primarily responsible for helping to load and unload goods, general building works and cable management.

Specific tasks include:

– Unloading and loading goods as instructed

– Acting as a strong team player offering work flexibility to meet the day to day demands of the operations

– Assisting the fitters with any role that they need help with

The standard working hours for this job are Monday to Friday 8am – 4.30pm.

The Candidate:

To be the right person for General Labourer role you will need direct experience of a similar role where you can use your skills in this role.

We also need you to have prior experience of working well as part of a team.

It’s also essential that you’ve got experience of problem solving as this is a large part of the job.

It’s important that you also have the following:

– A driving licence, no more than 6 points

– CSCS, SSSTS, first aid at work (advantageous)

– The reliability to work within a team

You’ll also need to be the following:

– Flexible and pro-active in the way you work

– Physically fit for this role as there is a lot of walking involved

– Reliable, punctual and responsible

The Package:

The basic salary for the General Labourer role is between £10.50 – £12.00 per hour. You can also earn overtime in this role.
