Job Description

We're looking for a talented Production Operative to work for our client.


They want to recruit someone with demonstrable experience of machinery/equipment use and maintenance as well as health and safety compliance.

Please note:  Whilst initially this is a temporary role there is the potential for the role to become permanent in the future.




The Role:

As the Production Operative you'll report to the Manager and will be primarily responsible for working on all machine / assembly equipment on shop floor to produce product to specification in an accurate, correct and safe manner.


In the job you'll be tasked with setting up machines to start a production cycle.


Finally, you'll also be tasked with keeping records of approved and defective units or final products.




The Candidate:

The ideal candidate for this Production Operative role will have relevant experience of machinery/equipment use and maintenance as well as health and safety compliance.


You'll also need experience of production operating and machine operating work.


In addition, it's essential that you possess good time keeping and reliability skills and understanding of production procedures.


You'll also need to be able to work autonomously whilst being a productive member of a team and be reliable and well organised.

The Package:

Basic salary:  £8.91 - £10.50 per hour depending on experience

Overtime:  You'll also have the opportunity to earn additional overtime in this role
