Job Description

Our client, a well-known company in Chippenham, is seeking an experienced Sales team member to join their busy team. Clients will submit their property details onto comparison websites and you will be responding to those client queries, reaching out to them in order to win their business.

They also receive queries direct through their own website and plan to use social media in the near future.

This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract

Your duties will include, though not limited to:

  • Responding confidently, quickly and efficiently to all incoming calls and emails in a polite and professional way and maximizing every opportunity.
  • Making proactive calls to warms leads resulting in a good conversion rate and hitting sales targets
  • Attaining and transfer key customer information and accurately update the internal program QUEST/Survey Hub/CRM.
  • Providing ideas and input into the business marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Working as a team towards monthly targets, conversion rates and quality plans to achieve sales and quality action plans.
  • Working as a team in conjunction with the Business Development and Marketing teams to promote our services.


The successful candidate:

  • Interpersonal skills: you will act as the first point of contact for the estate agents or client experience and must therefore create a positive and enthusiastic first impression. You will be willing to work as part of a team, communicating with your own department at all times. Must have a confident yet reassuring manner with clients at all times and a good telephone manner..
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required in order to bring sales conversion rates up and make the client experience a success. The jobholder will need to communicate politely and responsibly with our clients, agents and all team members.
  • Confidentiality:  Must exercise discretion when handling personal information.
  • Judgement and decision-making: You will sometimes be required to make quick decisions relating to clients requests therefore must be assertive in doing this but also know when to advise that an immediate decision cannot be made – rather than promising something that cannot be delivered.
  • Original thought and problem solving: You will need to liaise well with all the team members to ensure that the optimum solution is given to any problem, which might arise.
  • Concentration: Attention to detail is essential at all time to ensure the highest standard of customer satisfaction. Time management is of the essence and you must be confident that you can deal with a number of things at any one time and constantly re-evaluate priorities.

Systems Use: Competence with Microsoft Office products and CRM systems– use of QUEST or Survey Hub would be an advantage


  • Experience of working within a sales/customer service team, in an office environment.
  • Experience of working towards KPIs/objectives for one’s self and the team.
  • Experience of working with new systems and confident in being able to suggest new ways of working.
  • Has a ‘can do’ attitude, shows flexibility and a passion for change.


Hours of work will be rota based between the hours of 9am and 730pm

Some weekend work will be required
