Please note: This is a contract role, planned to last around 6 months and is inside IR35 and in it you'll may be required to work some weekends. Full details of how this will work will be revealed at interview.
In the Sewage Treatment Site Maintenance Operative role you will be primarily responsible for the general maintenance and operations of several sewage treatment plants throughout the south and south coast by identifying and recognising small maintenance needs to ensure the site stays fully operational.
Specific tasks include:
- General maintenance of several sites
- Driving to various different sites to carry out your daily job
- Ensuring the smooth and safe operations of each site you visit
This is a field-based role covering the South coast of England region, so if field-based work doesn't suit you please do not apply.
The standard working hours for this job are 07:30 - 16:00 although some flexibility will be expected.
To be considered for the Sewage Treatment Site Maintenance Operative role you will need to possess direct experience of problem solving.
We also need you to have prior experience of:
- Using your own intuitive
- General maintenance
- Identifying and rectifying small problems
Additionally, it's crucial that you possess the following:
- Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
- Geographical knowledge of the south and south coast
- The ability to work as part of or team or on your own
- A good work ethic
We need you to be comfortable driving to different sites each day and be willing to cover a large territory.

The basic salary for the Sewage Treatment Site Maintenance Operative role is up to £12.00 per hour for the perfect candidate.
