Warehouse Operative / Drivers mate – Portbury

Job Description:

24-7 Staffing has an exciting opportunity to join a prestigious company based in Portbury working as a warehouse operative. You will be working within a Warehouse Team to ensure that products are received, stored and stock checked in accordance with company policy. For successful applicants, the position is likely to become permanent.

Duties:

·         Unloading products and merchandise as it is received

·         Putting the received stock into the allocation location, ensuring it is stacked on shelves in a safe and secure manner

·         Palletising and securely wrapping stock

·         Liaising with the warehouse team and management

·         Picking and Packing of orders

·         Some drivers mate work could be required of you

Personal Profile & Experience:

·         Ability to follow processes and procedure accurately

·         A desire to learn and develop

·         A minimum of 6 months of working within a warehouse is preferred but not essential

·         Goods-In Goods Out experience is an advantage  

·         Forklift license would be useful, but not essential

·         Must be physically fit due to the heavy lifting that is involved

·         Someone who is flexible in the warehouse as well as going out on the road with a driver

Salary: from £7.50 per hour

Hours of work: 1400-2200 (days of work can vary due to the demands of the business however usual days of work are Mon-Fri)
